How we use information
We use information to operate SHOWTEK, review and publish show listings, contact submitters about corrections, deliver requested updates, prevent abuse, protect the website, and improve the service.
Public listing information
Published event and service-provider listings are public. They may include flyers, business details, images, service areas, and contact information submitted for public use. Do not submit private personal information, sensitive information, or information about a minor unless you are authorized to share it.
Sharing and service providers
We may use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, security, analytics, and support. They may process information only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect SHOWTEK, its users, or the public.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe at any time through the link in a SHOWTEK email or the unsubscribe page. We may retain a limited suppression record so an unsubscribed address is not emailed accidentally.
Children’s privacy
SHOWTEK serves the general stock show community but is not directed to children under 13. Website forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion of a child’s information.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with you, email hello@getshowtek.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as SHOWTEK grows. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
